How does Champion’s EV plan work?

The EV Saver-12 is great for EV owners who are willing to shift their vehicle charging to nighttime hours. By charging your vehicle during the discounted hours, you’ll receive a reduced energy rate. You’ll also get 12 months of price security, 24/7 free customer care and account management, and more benefits as a Champion Energy customer.

When are the discounted charging hours?

The discounted hours are from 10:00pm to 4:00am every night. Any charging/usage outside of those hours will be billed at the non-discounted energy rate.

Are hybrid vehicles eligible for this plan?

Plug-in Hybrids are eligible for this plan. Other hybrids (that don't plug in) are not eligible for this plan.

Does Champion Energy help cover the costs of buying an electric vehicle or buying/installing a charger?

Champion Energy is not financially responsible for any costs associated with the purchase of an EV or installation of an EV charger. But we do offer an electricity plan for EV owners to help save when they charge at home.
